Bistrot Paul Bert is a small, classic Parisian bistro loved by locals and devoted foodies. The restaurant features a seasonal menu which changes regularly as well as an extensive wine list.
Everything here is cooked just right, including the côte de boeuf for two with house-made fries, leading many foodies to say that the bistro serves some of the best steak frites in Paris. Bistrot Paul Bert is also famous for its amazingly rich Paris-Brest, a classic French choux pastry dessert filled with hazelnut-praline cream.
The three-course prix fixe menu is €36 with supplementary charges for specials such at the eggs with truffles. Reservations recommended.
