Decorated in Art Nouveau style, Au Pied de Cochon is an old establishment known for its French onion soup, or soupe à l’oignon, and of course, pieds de cochon (pig’s feet or trotters). The restaurant specializes in the gastronomy of the almighty pig. Grilled pig’s tail, pig’s snout, pig’s foot, you name it, they probably serve it.
Everything else on the menu is standard fare, and I note, nothing worthy of repeated visits. However, one perk of Au Pied de Cochon is that it’s one of the few restaurants in Paris that never closes. It’s has been serving guests 24/7 since the end of WWII. That’s right, you can get your fried pig’s foot at any time of the day.
